We plan pre-production, during-production and pre-shipment inspections and container loading checks based on AQL, and share photo reports.

Different risks are checked at different stages of production.

  • Pre-production inspection: checking raw materials, components and production readiness
  • During-production inspection: early detection of defects in the first units produced
  • Pre-shipment inspection: sample-based check of finished and packed goods
  • Container loading check: supervising quantity, packaging condition and loading

The acceptance quality limit is the basis of sampling inspection.

AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) is a statistical method that sets the maximum number of defects that can be accepted in units randomly selected from a lot. The lot size and inspection level determine the sample size; defects are classified as critical, major and minor, with a separate acceptance limit for each class. We agree the AQL levels with you based on the risk profile of your product.

After the inspection we share a report with photos of defects found, measurements and checklist results. The result is stated as pass, fail or conditional, and a re-inspection is scheduled if needed. You can also request this service for your own supplier.
